I learned to work in the personnel department from scratch. A few years later, I switched to SAP HCM consulting and subsequently took on more and more management tasks. During an outsourcing, I accompanied a team of 24 employees to a new employer. With this team I was responsible for the global application management of the HR systems of a major German bank and managed projects in parallel.
I find the interface between HR requirements and IT feasibility particularly appealing. Many projects profit here from my experience as a mediator between these two worlds.

The project was carried out in the course of a carve-out on the basis of specifications that had been drawn up by the selling organization.

Relocation of the SAP HR systems to a new provider as part of a merger. Design of the various migration scenarios. Clarification of licensing issues. Coordinating the WAN setup. 

Knowhow carriers in the acquired group had already been terminated.

Outsourcing of the SAP HCM IT. Participation in the provider selection. Capability Check. SLA definition, creation of PMO & FMO manuals. Takeover of the application management with a 20 employees team. Design of the related processes.

Organ donation saves lives" is pure conviction to me. I have already donated a kidney for my wife and even after my death I will not take anything with me that might save the lives of others. I advertise this every year together with many transplanted patients on a 700 km long bicycle tour through Germany. And also otherwise I like to ride my bike.
